GPU in EDU
Presentations and discussions about accelerated computing and AI for research and education
Nvidia and Cambridge have teamed up to deliver a seminar series focused on technologies that leverage GPUs and HPC for academic research computing. The specific content of each seminar can be tweaked for the specific interests of the hosting institution. Seminars can be delivered online, in person, or hybrid.

We are targeting the meet point between science and IT infrastructure. The content is suitable for anyone responsible for building GPU and HPC infrastructure and workstations as well as anyone interested in consuming these resources.
There are no direct costs involved. For online seminars, we prefer to use the hosting organizations online conferencing platform. For on-campus seminars, we have funding for travel and related expenses. We ask the hosting institution to provide the venue and optionally to provide catering. We can often find third party vendors to sponsor catering.

What is it?
Cambridge Computer offers a unique program that can come directly to your campus. For top universities around the country, we bring our executive team and academic thought leaders to meet your team and provide lectures on the industry topics of your interest. We curate eclectic agendas that address your specific audience’s pain points and curiosities.
Why do we do it?
Cambridge is dedicated to investing in higher education beyond facilitating transactions. As NVIDIA’s four-time Partner of the Year for Higher Education, our team is expertly trained not only in the minutiae of technology but also in understanding how different technologies can be integrated to optimize your data center.
Process
While we have executed several of these events, we approach each one as a new project to ensure a customized schedule that meets your audience’s needs. The average planning time required for these events is 8 weeks. During this period, we follow a project management timeline that ranges from creating an agenda to handling day-of logistics in detail. This program also comes with free lunch for your team!
Outcome
Our goal extends beyond inspiration; we aim to clearly convey the nature of our partnership and what we can offer your team. We want your team to feel supported, not just for reactive advice but also for proactive recommendations. Additionally, we aim to showcase the thought leaders within YOUR organization. Many campuses have IT leaders whose role is to educate other departments about the campus’ capabilities (which may include you!). This event serves as a platform to fulfill that objective.
