Waltham, MA – March 19, 2024 – For the fourth year in a row, Cambridge has been awarded the NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN) Higher Education Partner of the Year, making it the only partner to win the award this many times consecutively.
Since 2016, Cambridge has collaborated with NVIDIA to provide specialized technology solutions addressing parallel and high-throughput file systems, high-speed/low-latency interconnects, and compute technologies designed to solve large-scale problems for high-performance computing (HPC), machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads. In addition to their deep specialization and expertise in research computing, AI/ML, and Generative AI, the Cambridge team works to ensure solutions align with clients’ budgetary and technological requirements.
Cambridge Computer is an Elite partner in NPN with multiple product workload competencies. NPN provides partners across the globe with the expertise required to develop, deploy, and maintain world-class accelerated computing solutions designed for today’s most demanding machine learning and AI workloads.
“As a four-time recipient of the NPN Higher Education Partner of the Year award, Cambridge has continued to increase investment in the life sciences and research computing communities by leading educational talks and panels across the country. Working closely with NVIDIA, Cambridge serves higher education customers by supporting their research computing needs and understanding of the larger HPC, AI, and ML ecosystems.”
– Jose Alvarez, VP of Research Computing HPC/AI at Cambridge Computer
After receiving the award for the third time in 2023, Cambridge elevated its position in the Higher Education community by developing an early-adopter program for the QCT QuantaGrid solution powered by the NVIDIA GH200 Grace Hopper™ Superchip. Cambridge’s team developed a deep understanding of how this solution could revolutionize current research computing needs, as well as the expertise needed to implement it. In less than two months, Cambridge helped secure a record-breaking number of units for over 50 universities and other research computing institutions.
